1. Information We Collect

SutraFlow collects information you provide directly, such as when you create an account (name, email address) via our authentication provider Clerk. We also collect usage data automatically, including pages visited, interactions with sutras and practice exercises, and device/browser information, to improve the learning experience.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and personalise the SutraFlow learning experience
  • To remember your reactions, comments, and learning progress
  • To send important service-related notifications (if you opt in)
  • To analyse aggregate usage patterns and improve the platform

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Neon (PostgreSQL) hosted on AWS infrastructure. Authentication is handled by Clerk, which is SOC 2 Type 2 certified. We never store plaintext passwords. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services: Clerk (authentication), Neon (database), Vercel (hosting), and Microsoft Clarity (anonymised usage analytics). Each has its own privacy policy and data handling practices.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. You can delete your account directly from your profile settings, which will remove all associated personal data within 30 days.

6. Cookies

SutraFlow uses strictly necessary cookies to maintain your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Disabling cookies may affect authentication functionality.
